I have been a massage therapist since 1983, maintaining a private practice in Wisconsin for fifteen years until I relocated to Sedona in 1998 where I have been offering massage therapy at beautiful B&B’s and vacation rentals in Sedona and the surrounding communities. My home office is in Cottonwood.

Deeper Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Keep in mind that soreness can be common after the treatment. Due to the nature of the deeper tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial. Plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the tissues during the session. Deeper Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deeper Tissue is about moving slowly through the tissue layers…not simply blunt, heavy-handed pressure.
